Their most precious gift is that of their time.

This year we are given a special event that happens once every 4 years – The Leap Day – February 29^th.

As you know, time is one of the most precious gifts anyone can give. This year, we have been given a unique opportunity with the arrival of Leap Day on February 29th. At Warminster Food Bank, our dedicated volunteers are using this extra day to restock, reorganize, rearrange, and replenish our pantry shelves. Their efforts are essential in ensuring that we can continue to provide the best quality assistance to the families we serve.

While Leap Day brings an extra 24 hours for many, for those experiencing food insecurity, it can be more burdensome than a blessing. The daily struggle to make ends meet—choosing between food, healthcare, utility bills, and other expenses—only becomes more challenging with an additional day added to the calendar.

However, thanks to the unwavering support of our volunteers, donors, and supporters, we can continue our mission to alleviate hunger and ease the burden of uncertainty for many in our community. Your contributions of time, talent, and treasure enable us to make a positive impact on the lives of those we serve.

As we embrace Leap Day, let us make every moment count by making a difference in the lives of others. Together, we can ensure that no one in our community goes hungry.
