Warminster Food Bank is an all-volunteer IRS 501c3 Non-Profit.
Webster’s Dictionary defines “Profit” as both a noun and a verb:

verb
1: to be of service or advantage
2: to derive benefit
Based on the definition above, all of us that share the Vision, Mission, and Passion of the Warminster Food Bank, believe that it is anything but non-profitable:
To the nearly 3000 families/12,000 individuals a year we serve directly, our mission provides a valuable return, a great service and benefit – Profit.
To the many families visiting other local food pantries where we provide excess food – Profit.
To the families who receive a grocery basket that would be valued at over $250 at the checkout stand – Profit.
To the families that get a personal and dignified private appointment time slot reducing embarrassment and shame – Profit
To all our generous donors who derive a feeling of reward and satisfaction from supporting an essential local cause – Profit.
To a kind and gracious community whose caring and compassionate support makes for a kinder and gentler neighborhood – Profit.
To all our volunteers whose selfless and kind service to others benefits them as much as, if not more, than those they serve – Profit.
Yes dear friends, according to the IRS, we meet all the requirements of a “Non-Profit”, but with your support, we are immensely profitable providing a valuable return, a great service, an advantageous assistance, and all with great benefit to all concerned.
